    ———-
This is a free event open to all convention guests sponsored by hotelplanner.com. All competitors must be present at check-in and throughout the competition. Once a match is called competitor’s will have ten minutes to report to their stations for play. Additionally, no player may belong to more than one band.

Bands are judged on three categories from “1” to 10” for each song they perform. “10” equates a “perfect score” indicating the band does not need any work in that category. “5” is for an average performance, and “1” should be reserved for those bands that need lots of improvement in the category.
The three judging categories are as follows, and will be applied to each individual song a band performs:
    Cohesiveness
Does the band play well together as a group?
    Stage Presence
Does the band appear comfortable in front of an audience?
    Technical Skill
Are the band members technically successfully with their instruments/singing at their chosen difficulty level?

Each round the bands will perform two songs to be judged. At the end of each performance the band will be scored by the judges. At the end of each round the top bands with the highest scores will move onto the next round.
