All competitors must be present at check-in and throughout the competition. Once a match is called competitor’s will have ten minutes to report to their stations for play. If after ten minutes one or both of the competitors are not present the non present competitor(s) will be disqualified.
Game Settings – 2 stocks and 6 minute match timer.
Additional Rules – Stage Striking: Players engage in a battle of Rock Paper Scissor best of 1. Winner strikes the first stage. Loser then strikes the next two stages. Winner strikes the last one effectively choosing the first stage they play on. (1-2-1)

Both events will be STANDARD format with the current ban/errata list at the time.
Both events are open to all players. You do not need to qualify in order to play in either event.
All players will be seeded into a standard double elimination bracket before the tournament starts.
The tournament will take place Friday May 12th until Sunday May 14th .The tournament is free to join! Everyone at LVL Up Expo can participate.

Sunday will be the competitive tournament! Meet us at the Crossfire booth to sign-up, however seats are limited and will fill up quickly.
All competitors must be present and available for matches upon request. If a registered competitor does not arrive on time for a match, their spot will be forfeited.
Players will join the LVL Up Expo clan for each match (clan tag information to be given on site). The players can at anytime create a friendly match within with the clan to start a match. Players can play as many matches during the qualification period as they please. At the end of each match the winning player must capture a screenshot of the match results to submit as proof of their victory. At the end of qualification period the top 8 players with the most wins will advance to tournament play.
Players will join the private tournament clan for the entirety of the tournament. Players will be advised which clan to join at the start of the tournament.
From the time a player posts in the clan chat that they are ready to play their match, their opponent has ten minutes to accept the match. It is advised that players communicate they are ready to play within the clan chat. Screenshots from clan chat can be used to report if their opponent is a no show. All tournament matches will be best 2 out of 3 with players having the ability to change any number of cards in their deck between round.

3 Pack Draft Tournament, Friday-Saturday All Day
Players will be placed in groups of 8 people. Each will be given 3 Booster Packs to open. Each player will pick a single card and pass the remainder to the next player. This will continue until all cards are picked, and then until all booster packs are opened.
Player seating will be randomized after the 30 card draft decks have been created and rounds will be scored best 2/3. Each round will have a time limit of 30 minutes, but will end early if all games are completed.
New seating will be placed on the second round and final based on scores in the 2/3. There will be no time limit on the final round.
The winner will receive a Prize Pack:
Each player is allowed to participate in the Draft Tournament as many times as they would like as long as the $10 buy in is paid for each time they re-enter.
All players will be able to keep all cards they have opened from the packs as part of a consolation prize for participating in our first ever 9DKP Draft Tournament!
First Grand 9DKP Tournament
Players will have pre-arranged decks of 40 cards to participate. Seating will be randomized and players will compete in 40 minute rounds for best 2/3. Once the scores have reached two final players, the round will have no time limit and will be best 3/5 on the round.
