Our mission at LVL UP EXPO is to provide an enjoyable experience and to ensure the safety and inclusion of all our attendees. By accepting a badge to LVL UP EXPO, you agree to abide to our convention policies listed below:
Participation and Liability Release Waiver
If you are purchasing a badge on behalf of another attendee, they must first read and agree to our terms and policies. By registering for LVL UP EXPO, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the following terms and policies listed below.
Terms: “You” and “Your” refers to the participating individual. “Attendee” refers to a badge holder who is physically present at LVL UP EXPO. “Participation” and “activities” refers to, but not limited to: attending LVL UP EXPO 2025 in any capacity, attending panels and main events, cosplaying/roleplaying, competing in tournaments and contests, dancing, being on stage, standing in lines, engagement with other attendees, and being in large crowds.
1. Release and Waiver.
Attendee does hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless LVL UP EXPO and it’s successors and assigns from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind of nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or many hereafter arise from Attendee’s activities at LVL UP EXPO.
Attendee understands that this Release discharges LVL UP EXPO from any liability or claim that the Attendee may have against LVL UP EXPO with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from Attendee’s activities with LVL UP EXPO, its officers, directors, employees, or agents, including claims arising out of negligence.
Attendee also understands that LVL UP EXPO does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial assistance or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability insurance in the event of injury or illness.
2. Medical Treatment.
Attendee does hereby release and forever discharge LVL UP EXPO from any claim whatsoever which arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first aid, treatment, or service rendered in connection with the Attendee’s activities with LVL UP EXPO.
3. Assumption of Risk.
The Attendee hereby expressly and specifically assumes the risk of injury or harm in the activities and releases LVL UP EXPO from all liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage resulting from the activities.
4. Assumption of Risk of COVID-19.
Attendee hereby expressly and specifically assumes the following:
While attending LVL UP EXPO, preventative measures may be put in place by Organizer to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. Safety protocols may be revised to reflect the current state of the country and what our Nevada Governor sets as guidelines. LVL UP EXPO cannot guarantee that it’s volunteers, exhibitors, artists, and attendees will not become infected with COVID-19.
Furthermore, Attendee acknowledges and understands the following:
- Attending Event includes possible exposure to an illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist;
- Attendee knowingly and freely assumes all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19; and
- Attendee hereby knowingly assumes the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with attending Event.
5. Photography and Videography Release.
Attendee does hereby grant and convey unto LVL UP EXPO all right, title and interest in any and all images and video or audio recordings made by LVL UP EXPO during the Attendee’s activities with LVL UP EXPO, including, but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings in any media now existing or hereinafter invented. Attendee consents to LVL UP EXPO publishing, exhibiting, or otherwise distributing such images, video, or audio recordings of Attendee without Attendee’s approval.
Health & Safety Guidelines
Please continue to check back, as our procedures may be revised to reflect the current state of the country and what our Nevada Governor sets as guidelines. If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend. You can request a full refund seven (7) days prior to our event, on Tixr or email [email protected] for assistance.
Code of Conduct
Speak Up & Report Issues
Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities. If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, including harassment, threats, or any other concerns, please notify LVL UP EXPO staff or security immediately.
- Event staff are available at the Info Booth and Registration during all event hours. You may also file incident reports at both these locations.
- Security personnel are stationed at the entrance, throughout the Exhibit Hall, and a dedicated security station is located at the west entrance (Blue Entrance) next to the nurse station in the lobby of the cafeteria.
- You may also report issues to any staff member wearing official LVL UP EXPO credentials.
Expected Behavior
All attendees, exhibitors, staff, and guests must:
- Be respectful and considerate of everyone. Help us maintain a fun, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
- Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior of any kind. This includes:
- Offensive comments or gestures related to race, gender, orientation, ability, appearance, or religion.
- Intimidation, stalking, or unwelcome physical contact.
- Displaying or wearing hateful or explicit imagery that is not appropriate for a general audience.
- Remember: Cosplay is not consent. Always ask permission before photographing or physically interacting with anyone in costume (or not).
- Refrain from smoking or vaping inside the Convention Center. This includes e-cigarettes and similar devices.
Violations & Consequences
LVL UP EXPO has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and disruptive conduct. Anyone violating these rules may be removed from the event without refund, and may be subject to additional consequences at the discretion of LVL UP EXPO management and security.
Costumes
Costume Guidelines
To ensure a safe, comfortable, and family-friendly environment for all attendees, LVL UP EXPO enforces the following rules regarding costumes and attire:
Decency Standards:
Costumes must be PG-13. Excessive nudity, exposure of genitalia, or buttocks, is strictly prohibited. Nipple pasties, thongs, sheer mesh, or tape alone are not considered sufficient coverage. Private areas must be fully covered with opaque fabric at all times.
Offensive or Inappropriate Content:
Costumes may not display obscene language, symbols, or graphics that are hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise unsuitable for a general audience.
Mobility & Safety:
Costumes that restrict movement or impair vision, such as large wings, heavy armor, or full-face masks without adequate visibility, are not permitted.
Footwear:
Shoes must be worn at all times. Bare feet are not allowed. Tall stilts, skates, bicycles, scooters (unless medically required), and shoes with wheels are prohibited. Skate decks are permitted only if tracks and wheels have been removed before entry; partially assembled skateboards are not allowed.
Law Enforcement & Military Impersonation:
Costumes may not resemble real-world law enforcement, military, or emergency personnel uniforms. Attire labeled with “POLICE,” “SWAT,” “FBI,” “DEA,” “CIA,” or similar agency identifiers is not permitted.
Enforcement:
LVL UP EXPO staff and security have sole discretion to determine whether costumes meet these guidelines. Attendees may be asked to modify their attire or leave the event floor to address violations. Refusal to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
Weapons and Props
Prop & Weapon Inspections:
At LVL UP EXPO, attendee safety is our highest priority. All props and weapons must be inspected and peace-bonded at the Peace Bonding Stations, located outside of the convention center, on both West Entrance (Blue) and East Entrance (Red).
- No entry into the Exhibit Hall or Panel Rooms will be allowed without an official peace bond.
- Any prop not displaying a peace bond is subject to immediate inspection. You may be escorted by staff or security to the Peace Bonding Station for verification.
If you purchase a prop inside the Exhibit Hall, keep it boxed until you have exited the convention center. If you intend to use it as part of your costume, you must first take it directly to the Peace Bonding Station for inspection and approval.
Legal Compliance
All props must fully comply with all current Las Vegas, Nevada, and Federal laws and statutes. No exceptions will be made. All props are reviewed before entry and must pass inspection to receive a peace bond.
Prohibited Items:
The following are strictly prohibited and will not be allowed under any circumstances:
- Firearms, ammunition, or any projectile-based weapons, including:
- Airsoft guns (even with internals removed)
- BB guns, pellet guns, functional water guns
- Crossbows and bows (must be unstrung or non-functional)
- Stun guns, tasers, or similar devices
- Explosives, fireworks, hazardous chemicals, or open flames
- Live steel: swords, bayonets, knives, or any metallic item capable of holding an edge, regardless of sharpness.
Additionally, all gun-like props must have an orange safety tip.
Permitted Items:
- Wooden, paper-mâché, and foam weapons are allowed, subject to inspection and approval.
- Skate decks are permitted only if tracks and wheels have been removed prior to entry. Partially or fully assembled skateboards will not be allowed inside the convention center.
Oversized & Unsafe Props:
- Props exceeding 6 feet in length or 30 pounds in weight are classified as oversized and will not be permitted.
- Any prop that is misused- thrown, swung, or handled in a way that could cause harm- will result in immediate revocation of event privileges.
- Gun-like props must never be pointed at another person, even during photos.
Staff Authority & Enforcement:
LVL UP EXPO staff and security reserve the sole right to determine whether any prop is unsafe or unacceptable. Props deemed unsafe will not be permitted inside the convention center.
Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

Bag Policy
To enhance security and ensure the safety of all attendees, the following bag policy applies:
Bag Size Limits:
- Bags larger than 16” x 16” x 8” are not permitted inside event halls.
- Backpacks, messenger bags, and tote bags are allowed within size limits.
- The size limit does not apply to bags specifically designed to carry Fight Sticks for competition.
- Clear bags are encouraged to expedite security screening.
Bag Checks:
- All bags will be inspected upon entry. Security reserves the right to conduct additional inspections at any time during the event.
- Attendees who refuse a bag check will be denied entry.
Prohibited Items in Bags
The following items are not allowed inside the event space and will be confiscated, or the attendee will be denied entry if found during bag checks:
1. Weapons & Hazardous Items:
- Firearms, ammunition, knives, and any sharp objects
- Explosives, fireworks, and flammable materials
- Pepper spray, mace, and other chemical irritants
- Functional props that have not been peace-bonded
2. Food & Beverages:
Permitted:
- Sealed, individual-sized snacks and beverages (e.g., water bottles, granola bars)
- Reusable water bottles (must be empty before entering the venue). Water refill stations will be available throughout the event
- Food required for medical or dietary needs
Not Permitted:
- Unsealed, homemade, or open food and drinks
- Bulk quantities (e.g., cases of water, large bags of chips, coolers)
- Alcoholic beverages unless purchased from licensed vendors in designated areas
3. Electronics & Devices:
- Drones
- Laser pointers and high-intensity lights
- Noisemakers such as air horns
4. Personal Items & Miscellaneous:
- Illegal substances and paraphernalia
- Large tools, hammers, or hardware
- Umbrellas with sharp points
- Balloons, confetti, glitter, and excessive decorative items
5. Other Items:
- Glass containers or bottles
- Items intended for sale or distribution without prior authorization
- Any item that security deems a risk to the safety of attended
Signage
To maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all attendees, the following rules apply regarding signs and promotional materials:
Size Restrictions:
- Signs must be no larger than 3 feet wide. Oversized signs that exceed this limit will not be permitted.
Prohibited Sign Content:
- No solicitation: Signs that advertise, promote, or solicit the sale of goods, services, or personal information are strictly prohibited.
- No physical interaction requests: Signs with phrases like “Hug Me,” “Glomp Me,” “Free Hugs,” or similar requests for physical contact are not allowed.
- Offensive or inappropriate content: Signs displaying vulgar, discriminatory, or inappropriate language or imagery will be confiscated, and the attendee may face disciplinary action.
Flyers & Handouts:
- Distribution of flyers, business cards, or any promotional materials without prior written consent from LVL UP EXPO management is prohibited.
- Unauthorized distribution will result in confiscation and possible removal from the event.
Photos & Videotaping
LVL UP EXPO will have official convention photographers and approved media to take pictures and videos of the convention, attendees and events. By purchasing or wearing a LVL UP EXPO badge, you agree to allow LVL UP EXPO to use photos that may be taken of you for promotional and decorative purposes. When photographing or videotaping individuals or costumes, please use common courtesy and ask before photographing or videotaping them. Please respect their rights if they do not wish to be photographed or videotaped. If someone indicates that they do not wish to be photographed/videotaped, do NOT photograph/videotape them! Out of courtesy to our exhibitors and artists, please also refrain from taking photos in front of or explicitly of their products or booths without their permission.

ADA Badge Sticker Registration
To simplify access to the services and accommodations listed below, ADA attendees can apply for an ADA Badge Sticker in advance. This sticker will help staff identify those eligible for accessibility perks like priority lines and entrances.
Stickers can be picked up at the Show Services Booth, April 23 during early pick-up, and April 24 – 26, 2026 during event hours.

ADA Companion Policy
Each ADA attendee is permitted one (1) additional ADA sticker for a companion if they require assistance to access and enjoy the event. This companion sticker allows the designated individual to accompany the ADA attendee in accessibility lines and entrances for Main Events, Special Guest Autographs, and other designated areas.
The companion must have their own valid event badge, as the ADA sticker only grants accessibility privileges and does not serve as admission. Additional companions beyond the allotted plus-one will need to use general admission lines and entrances.
On-Site ADA Assistance
For in-person ADA assistance and/or to apply for a badge sticker during LVL UP EXPO, please visit the Show Services Booth in the Registration Lobby. Our team will be available to answer questions and provide assistance.
Parking
Designated accessible parking spaces for both standard vehicles and vans are available at our facilities for properly identified vehicles. Please refer to the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Accessibility Map for locations.
Automatic Doors
Automatic doors are installed at key entrances to enhance accessibility for visitors with mobility challenges.
Wheelchair and Scooter Rentals
Wheelchair and scooter rentals are available through FedEx Office, located in the Grand Lobby (Central Hall) and the South Hall Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center. To reserve or inquire about availability, please contact FedEx Office at 1-888-441-7575.

Service Animals

How do I buy badges for LVL UP EXPO?
Badges can be purchased online at https://lvlupexpo.com/ select “Register Now” or at the event (if not sold out). We recommend buying in advance for the best prices.
If I step outside the building, can I walk back in with my badge and avoid the lines?
All attendees entering the lobby, regardless of their badge status, will undergo security screening conducted by our security personnel.
What is the military and first responders discount and how can I redeem it?
Military- Both Active & Veterans and First Responders Discount is: 3-Day: $75, Friday: $50, Saturday: $50, and Sunday $40. Discount can only be offered At-Door Registration.
Can I pick-up a badge on behalf of another attendee?
Yes. You must provide the attendee’s ticket confirmation received via Email.
I forgot or cannot access my TIXR Order Confirmation to pick-up my badge. You can present your valid government issued ID instead.
I lost my badge, what do I do?
If you lost your badge, head over to the Registration Lobby and look for booth “Show Services” for further assistance. There is a replacement fee for lost badges. Additionally, only one (1) replacement is allowed per attendee.
Where and when is Early Badge Pick-up?
Early Badge Pick-up is on Thursday, April 23 from Noon- 8PM and located at the Registration Lobby at Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall.
Are strollers/wagons for children allowed?
Yes, these items are allowed. However, they must be with you at all times.
